Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 June 2026
By creating an account or using Caliber (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Caliber is a career and engineering-knowledge tool for firmware/embedded engineers. It is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and may be in active development (beta). Features may change.
2. Your account
- Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old.
3. Your content & imported data
- You retain ownership of content you create (Lab entries, projects, résumés, notes).
- You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate the Service for you.
- Bring-your-own job data: you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import any third-party job data, and for complying with that source’s terms (e.g. LinkedIn’s). We do not centrally rebroadcast scraped data.
4. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing, or abusive use; no attempts to break security or rate limits.
- No uploading of others’ personal data without a lawful basis.
5. Disclaimers
Scores, matches, salary figures, and sponsorship signals are estimates for guidance only and may be inaccurate or out of date. The Service does not guarantee any job, interview, visa, or career outcome. Verify important information independently.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or loss of data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or pose a security/legal risk.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts.
